The Vampire and his emissary, Kundry, are the being of the shadow, not just any shadow, but the Aspirant’s shadow. He will cunningly wait for the Neophyte to strengthen and widen his horizons; he does it so openly for the Vampire. Growing with his subtle body, his head will indeed be in the Heavens and his feet far on the Earth, but how large will the shadow be of such a huge structure?
